Geoff Sandine resides in the Pacific Northwest and has spent the past 15 years exploring and photographing the Washington coastline along with the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. He initially studied photography at Whitworth College in Spokane. With a darkroom located adjacent to the ceramics department, he learned some hard and fast lessons in dust touch up. If only Photoshop existed then. Geoff left dusty formal study behind and traveled abroad to Europe, China and Japan which all provided new insights on lighting and composition. His collection now spans such diverse locations as the slots of the southwest canyon country to the waterfalls of the Canadian Rockies to the waves of granite sculpture seen in the Winds, Sierras and Tetons.

Geoff participates in several outdoors' organizations including the Mountaineers, Washington Trails Association and the Sierra Club. His style aims to combine unique wilderness settings with dramatic lighting situations often making for spectacular results. Come see for yourself!
